I was just talking with my friends about this the other day. I'm excited. They really better not mess it up though.

I love the coloring you used here. BTW.

They'll probably make him a teenager and an awkward one at that. He'll have a crush on the pretty cute popular girl in his local High School.
But of course no one would accept him, because he likes to build miniature scale model aircraft and nauticals. So one night as he lay in a pit of his own tears and pajamas, his over bearing, but well meaning and relatively "20" looking, mother bought him.
He has a sort've mind altering experience where the bulk of the CGI budget will be spent, his room slowly transforming into a dense forest, ala Jumanji.
Eyes will slowly appear from out of his closet chasing him to the deeper reaches of what was once his desk/poetry space.
He will then come to terms with being stuck in a fascinating yet utterly hopeless scenario rather quickly, and just in time to be befriended by ultra fantastic beasts.
His first instinct isn't to grab a sharp thing and tear into the leader before rage can over come his pea-sized brain, NO NO NO. They are just nerds like he is, and they too find joy in doing things that he used to do in the bathroom on weekends when his parents were out binge drinking.
But of course even with his new found acceptance he misses the hell his life was back where he came from, so his new friends find a way to help him get back.
They build him a REAL LIFE model of the Voyager and POOF, powered by mystical tears and puberty poetry he is on his way back to New York, New York city.
There he hops out of his model teen-angst space craft just in time to get to his senior prom where the girl who is cute, popular and pretty appears to not have a date.
There she loiters outside the gymnasium doors, and the boy has a moment where he think for the slightest second 'I can do this!' and he walks up to her being as awkward, as possible to provide future sound bites.
TO HIS AMAZEMENT, he discovers she too, is a nerd like him, and she wants to hear all about his psychedelic mind adventures instead of committing him like any sane friend would.
And then after everyone has had their say, the dorky awkward boy that nobody loved, found a girl who is just as unrealistic as the fictitious world he visited. Because she puts out for an Otaku.

THE FUCKING END.
