Just a quick update, I went to go see Animal Collective last night.

It was alright at best.
I love their music, I love watching them evolve with every CD, but seeing them in person was a big letdown.

It took them two hours (and twenty minutes) to get on stage and start performing, and then they just powered through the songs as quickly as possible, thanked the crowd for having them, and then left.

The songs themselves were really good.
Better than CD versions.
There were a couple of songs I didn't recognise (maybe new?) but that's about it.

I don't know if it's just typical Animal Collective to not talk to the audience, or if it was because they were tired from Sasquatch festival, but all in all I was generally disappointed.
I'm never going to their concert again.

The most fun I had was being SO EMBARRASSED for all those stupid badly dressed hipster kids at the show making fools of themselves with their terrible "dancing" XD;
It was so bad.
I was laughing the whole time.

There were a couple of real people there, but almost all of them were bandwagon hipster kids :'D
